Orange Fiber is an award-winning Italian textile innovation company transforming citrus by-products into sustainable fabrics for the global fashion industry. Founded in 2014, the company has evolved from a start-up to a recognized leader in circular and eco-responsible textile production, redefining how waste can become luxury.
Through a pioneering process, Orange Fiber produces patented cellulose fibers from orange pulp and wood sources, offering a unique, silky fabric alternative that merges innovation, sustainability, and Italian craftsmanship.
In collaboration with Lenzing Group, Orange Fiber introduced the first-ever TENCEL™ branded lyocell fiber made from orange and wood pulp, under the TENCEL™ Limited Edition initiative—setting new benchmarks in eco-conscious fashion fibers.
Over the years, Orange Fiber has earned multiple international honors, including the Global Change Award (H&M Foundation), Fashion for Good Accelerator, Mass Challenge Switzerland, Elle Impact2 for Women Award, and the Green Carpet Fashion Awards. In 2020, the company was selected as an official nominator for The Earthshot Prize by the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Its innovative fabrics have been featured in exclusive creations, including the Global Change Award 2018 event, where actress Chiling Lin wore a gown designed by Chatarina Forseth (H&M) using Orange Fiber twill, made from 50% acetylated orange cellulose fiber and 50% organic silk.
