JD Institute of Fashion Technology was founded in 1988, beginning its journey in Mumbai and now has grown into a pan-India design education network with over 40 learning centres across the country. Courses & Academic Programmes

JD Institute offers a wide and diversified set of courses — from undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degrees to diplomas, advanced diplomas and even online certification programmes. Among the UG offerings are programmes such as a 4-year B.Des in Fashion Designing, various B.Sc and B.A degrees ranging from Fashion Design & Garment Making, Textile Designing, Fashion Technology, Graphic & Web Designing, Beauty & Health, to Animation & Graphic Design, Fashion Management and Retail Management. 

On the PG side, JD offers M.Sc courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, and Fashion Technology. 

Besides these, the institute has flexible, shorter-term and diploma courses: Advanced Diploma in Fashion & Apparel Design; PG Diploma in Fashion Design & Management; Diploma courses in Fashion Illustration, Merchandising, Pattern Making & Garment Manufacturing, Fashion Photography, Styling, Visual Merchandising, and more. This broad palette of courses ensures that aspirants at different stages and with different goals — from fundamental design training to specialized skills — have relevant pathways.
